Position Overview

Freezing Point is a rapidly expanding frozen beverage enterprise in the United States, known for its innovative products such as Frazil, 100% Juice Frazil, and Café Tango. We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to lead our essential financial operations and manage our accounting team. This role presents an excellent opportunity to gain insights from a seasoned management team and become part of a stable, forward-thinking organization. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in financial statement preparation, team leadership, and the enhancement of financial systems and processes.

Salary: $100,000 - $140,000/annually (DOE)

Note: This is a fully onsite position in Salt Lake City, UT.

Key Responsibilities

While daily tasks may fluctuate throughout the month, primary responsibilities encompass:
  • Overseeing fundamental accounting functions, including cash flow management and the monthly financial closing process.
  • Preparing comprehensive financial statements, including consolidation activities.
  • Managing accounting personnel and supervising accounts receivable and payable operations.
  • Leading the annual financial audit in collaboration with external auditors.
  • Establishing and enforcing internal control policies, procedures, and documentation.
  • Analyzing financial outcomes and generating management reports.
  • Assisting in the research and application of new accounting standards.
  • Performing additional duties as assigned or identified.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in general accounting management or public accounting.

• MBA or Master’s Degree in Accounting or a related field.

• CPA certification is required.

• Strong understanding of US GAAP.

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

• Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to interpret large datasets.

• SQL experience is advantageous.
