Job Summary

Soliant is seeking a highly skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team as a Special Education Specialist. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1+ years of experience in speech therapy and a passion for working with young learners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assessment and Intervention: Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify speech and language disorders and develop individualized therapy plans to address the needs of students aged 5-22.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with teachers, support staff, and parents to integrate speech and language goals into students' educational plans and ensure a cohesive approach to supporting students' communication development.
  • Case Load Management: Manage a moderate case load of diverse students with varying communication needs, prioritizing tasks and allocating resources effectively to ensure timely and effective support.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed records of assessments, progress, and treatment plans in accordance with regulatory standards, ensuring compliance and transparency.
Requirements
  • SLP Requirements: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology and valid Connecticut SLP license.
  • CFY Requirements: Currently enrolled in or completed a Master's program in Speech-Language Pathology and eligible for Connecticut Speech-Language Pathology licensure.
