About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Structural Engineer to join our team at Centerline. As a Structural Engineer, you will play a critical role in the design and analysis of telecom projects, working closely with our engineers to ensure the safe and efficient installation of wireless equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform detailed structural analysis of original, modified, and proposed telecommunication towers, including monopole, guyed, and lattice self-support structures.
  • Develop and implement structural analysis tools and training presentations, and conduct training sessions for team members.
  • Lead small to moderate-sized projects, and participate in large projects as an engineer Subject Matter Expert (SME).
  • Review and approve AutoCAD drawings for tower and foundation reinforcement/modifications designs.
  • Coordinate work with other disciplines, such as architectural, mechanical, and electrical engineering.
  • Handle routine contract administration and ensure compliance with customer requirements.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in civil or structural engineering.
  • EI or EIT Certification is a must, PE or SE in civil structural engineering is desirable.
  • 2-5 years of experience in the wireless/telecom industry, with proven experience in structural analysis and design with towers and mounts.
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD and construction design and drawing preparation.
  • Understanding of antennas, fiber, carrier services, and other wireless equipment.
  • Knowledge of TNX Tower, Enercalc, PLS Caisson, and Risa 3D Programs is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills, ability to work outside in all weather conditions, and flexibility to work a varied schedule.
