As a Production Maintenance Lead, you will oversee the maintenance operations, ensuring adherence to Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to safety, quality, production efficiency, and service excellence. This role requires a hands-on approach, with a significant portion of your time spent on the production floor.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise maintenance teams to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
  • Demonstrate leadership to achieve specific goals in Safety, Quality, Service, Efficiency, and Employee Development.
  • Encourage a culture of safety and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) among team members.
  • Plan and implement innovative methods to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Develop and manage a comprehensive preventive maintenance program to optimize machinery performance.
  • Coordinate with maintenance planners and production teams to establish a proactive maintenance schedule.
  • Analyze production workflows to prioritize maintenance and repair tasks effectively.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance history and equipment needs.
  • Utilize technology to track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and identify trends that may impact operational targets.
  • Conduct audits and monitor compliance with established procedures and standards.
  • Engage in root-cause analysis to address recurring equipment issues.

Core Qualifications:

  • Minimum of two years of supervisory experience in a maintenance environment.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Three years of hands-on experience in maintenance and reliability.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and approachability.
  • Experience in mechanical and electrical maintenance, including automation and robotics.
  • Proficient in reading schematics and blueprints.
  • Ability to train team members on technology and processes.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office and plant production software.
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
