Position Overview
As a Retail Sales Representative, you will play a vital role in our retail operations. Your responsibilities will include ensuring product availability, creating visually appealing displays, and providing outstanding customer service. You will be an essential part of our Store Leadership team, helping to fulfill Columbia Sportswear Company's vision of connecting active individuals with their passions.
Your Impact
- Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries regarding product features and availability, while actively engaging with customers to understand their preferences.
- Maintain high standards of store presentation, cleanliness, and safety; efficiently retrieve merchandise from various locations.
- Accurately process all cash register transactions, including sales, returns, and exchanges, while connecting customers to our loyalty program.
- Support store profitability by effectively managing product flow, including receiving and replenishing stock.
Qualifications
- No specific educational background required (High School Diploma or GED preferred).
- Up to 2 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
- Proficient in operating Point of Sale (POS) systems and other in-store technology.
Work Environment
- Engage in a dynamic work setting that requires physical activity, including lifting items weighing up to 40 lbs.
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members and customers.
- Flexibility to work varied retail hours, adapting to seasonal trends and business needs.
