Key Responsibilities- Provide Exceptional Patient Care: Conduct physical exams, diagnose and treat medical conditions, and develop personalized preventive care plans for feline and canine patients.
- Develop Comprehensive Treatment Plans: Formulate problem-based approaches to diagnose and treat complex medical conditions, and coordinate with referral hospitals as needed.
- Stay Up-to-Date with Industry Developments: Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with the latest advancements in veterinary medicine.
- Collaborate with Colleagues: Work effectively with our team of veterinary professionals to ensure seamless patient care and efficient clinic operations.
- Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine: Hold a DVM or equivalent degree from an AVMA-accredited school.
- Licensure and Certification: Possess an active veterinary license, current DEA and controlled substance licenses, and USDA Category Accreditation (or obtain within two months of hire).
- Surgical Proficiency: Demonstrate proficiency in anesthesia and routine surgeries, including spays, neuters, mass removals, and dentals for dogs and cats.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Maintain a professional and compassionate demeanor in emotional or stressful situations.
