Early Childhood Caregiver in our After School Program

We are seeking a dedicated and caring Early Childhood Caregiver to join our After School Program team at St. Mark's Episcopal School in Houston, Texas. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing a safe and engaging environment for our students.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise students during age-appropriate activities, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.
- Distribute and oversee afternoon snack time, promoting healthy eating habits and social skills.
- Supervise recess time, ensuring the safety and enjoyment of our students.
- Follow Texas Childcare licensing guidelines for toileting, maintaining a clean and hygienic environment.
- Assist with dismissal and parent pick-up, providing a smooth transition for our students.
- Must be at least 20 years of age.
- Available 2:30 - 6:15 p.m. Monday through Friday during the school year.
- Childcare and/or teaching experience with children ages 12 to 35 months is strongly preferred.
- Physical ability to sit and stand for extended periods, lift up to 25 pounds, and work outside in inclement and hot weather.

Our school is located in the West University Place neighborhood of Houston, serving 450 students from two-year-olds through 8th grade.
