Flexible Work Schedule
Competitive Pay Range: $32-$35 per hour
The primary responsibility of this role is to deliver therapeutic services to patients, which may encompass pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer physical therapy interventions to residents in accordance with the treatment plans established by the Physical Therapist.
- Support the Physical Therapist during assessments, evaluations, and advanced treatment procedures.
- Monitor, document, and communicate to the therapist the conditions, reactions, and responses related to assigned tasks.
- Maintain accurate daily records of treatments and document progress notes on residents as instructed by the therapist.
- Assist with the initial screening of new admissions.
- Collaborate with the therapist in discussions with family members, physicians, and other healthcare professionals as necessary.
- Contribute to the upkeep of the physical therapy department and its equipment.
- Assist the Physical Therapist in conducting in-service training sessions and other meetings as required.
- Pursue continuing education opportunities relevant to your role to ensure clinical proficiency.
- Adhere to HealthPro Heritage's regulatory and professional standards and guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
- Current licensure or eligibility for licensure in accordance with state regulations.
- Preferred experience in a setting catering to a similar demographic as served by this facility.
- Strong oral and written communication skills, including neat handwriting, and excellent interpersonal abilities.
- Capability to comprehend and follow the directives of the Physical Therapist and the policies of the organization.
