Job Title: Per Diem Oncology Nurse

We are seeking a skilled Per Diem Oncology Nurse to join our team at Mass General Brigham. As a Per Diem Oncology Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to our mission of advancing healthcare in western Massachusetts.

About the Role:
  • Collaborate with Radiation Oncologists and Radiation Therapists to coordinate services and ensure quality patient care.
  • Provide nursing care to patients undergoing radiation therapy, including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and educating patients and families.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of patient care plans, ensuring continuity of care and effective communication with the healthcare team.
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing, with a BSN preferred.
  • Minimum of one to two years of experience in radiation oncology or a related field.
  • Licensure to practice as an RN in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
  • Current American Heart Association BLS certification.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
