Responsibilities
  • Repair and assemble small engines, including chainsaws, pole-saws, hedge-trimmers, grass trimmers, lawnmowers, pruners, snowblowers, and leaf-blowers.
  • Assist with merchandising and maintaining product displays to maximize sales opportunities and enhance the overall store appearance.
  • Actively sell units on the sales floor of the store whenever possible.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy and report any inconsistencies to the store management team.
  • Ensure the shop area is always clean and safe.
  • Provide product demonstrations and startups for customers and employees.
  • Follow accepted safety practices while servicing all units.
  • Assemble all incoming units for sale.
  • Use dollies, pallet jacks, merchandise carts, and forklifts as necessary to help complete tasks.
  • Use a computer for parts inquiries, ordering, and receiving orders.
  • Handle multiple projects and tasks with a high attention to detail.
  • Work with minimal supervision, independently.
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
  • A valid Driver's License and good driving record to perform deliveries.
Physical Requirements
  • Move and handle boxes of merchandise and fixtures throughout the store.
  • Ability to stand for an extended period.
  • Assist customers with heavier items - Must be able to lift and carry up to 60lbs as a part of regular duties. Must be able occasionally, with assistance, lift to 80lbs.
