Role Summary
As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be instrumental in ensuring the seamless operation of our hotel facilities. Your expertise will help create a safe and welcoming atmosphere for all guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct minor repairs, including replacing ceiling tiles, filters, light bulbs, and performing painting and plumbing tasks.
- Execute preventative maintenance activities according to the established schedule.
- Ensure all equipment is ready for the next day's operations.
- Monitor and maintain the efficiency of electrical systems and equipment, including air conditioning, lighting, and guest entrance systems.
- Refurbish and repair furniture and fixtures in guest rooms as necessary.
- Perform additional tasks as directed by management.
Qualifications:
- Ability to lift and move items of considerable weight.
- Physical capability to stand, bend, kneel, and perform various manual tasks.
- Basic knowledge of plumbing and electrical systems, along with preventive maintenance practices.
- Prior experience in a hotel setting is preferred.
