Job Overview:

Under the direction of the Service Manager, the Field Service Technician will be responsible for completing inspections and preventive maintenance requirements, correcting vehicle deficiencies, making adjustments and alignments, and keeping records. This is a Monday to Friday, first shift position with a competitive hourly rate of $35.00, plus an uncapped Service Technician Incentive Program.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform all levels of maintenance services, including inspections and diagnostic tests.
  • Determine vehicle condition by identifying worn and damaged parts.
  • Keep equipment available for use by completing preventive maintenance schedules and controlling corrosion.
  • Correct vehicle deficiencies by removing, repairing, and replacing major assemblies, sub-assemblies, components, parts, or systems.
  • Comply with federal and state vehicle requirements by testing engine, safety, and combustion control standards.
  • Maintain vehicle records by annotating services and repairs.
  • Road test vehicles when necessary to diagnose malfunctions or ensure they are working properly.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Trade school or college education in a diesel technology program preferred.
  • 2-5 years related work experience preferred.
  • Mechanical knowledge required.
  • Valid Driver's License required; CDL preferred (must be willing to obtain).
  • Dependable and reliable attendance required.
What We Offer:
  • Competitive hourly rate of $35.00.

  • Monday to Friday, first shift schedule.
  • Shift premium for hours worked outside of regular hours.
  • Mobile Service Technician Premium of $5.00 per hour.
