Job Summary:

Physician Empire is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Minimally Invasive/Robotics trained Urologist to serve as Senior Medical Director of our hospital employed Urology group.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the Urology group to provide high-quality patient care and achieve business objectives.
  • Develop and implement strategies to grow the Urology program and increase revenue.
  • Collaborate with other medical directors and department leaders to align Urology services with hospital goals.
  • Recruit and retain top talent in Urology, including physicians and advanced practice providers.
  • Develop and manage budgets for the Urology group, including personnel, equipment, and supplies.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain accreditation standards.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient safety programs.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective operations.

Requirements:

  • Board Certification/Board Eligibility in Urology.
  • Minimally Invasive/Robotics training and experience.
  • Leadership experience in a hospital or healthcare setting.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to manage budgets and resources.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.

Work-Life Balance:

  • Monday-Thursday: 8:00am-4:30pm
  • Friday: 8:00am-12:00pm
  • Final office hours will be determined by OR block time and inpatient consult volume.

Equipment and Resources:

  • Trophon Machine and Ultrasound Machine in the office.
  • Standalone Urology suite with fixed Siemens Uroskop Omnia max table, Olympus rigid and flexible scopes, Lumenis Pulse Moses Holmium laser, Boston Scientific Lithoclast, Stryker camera system, and Gyrus PK Super Pulse SE.
  • Robotic Surgical System will be purchased.
