Job Overview

Firebirds Wood Fired Grill is seeking an experienced Executive Chef to lead our culinary team and drive the success of our restaurants. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of food production, including menu development, inventory management, and kitchen operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement menu concepts and recipes that align with our brand's culinary vision
  • Manage kitchen staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations
  • Ensure high-quality food production and presentation, meeting our brand's standards
  • Maintain accurate inventory levels and manage food costs
  • Collaborate with our culinary team to develop and implement new menu items and promotions
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations
  • Conduct regular kitchen inspections to maintain a clean and organized environment

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience as an Executive Chef in a high-volume, full-service restaurant
  • Proven track record of menu development and implementation
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
