Key Responsibilities:
The primary responsibility of the Senior Underwriting Executive is to oversee the evaluation and approval process for Healthcare Asset-Based Lending (ABL) transactions.


The ideal candidate will possess robust credit and collateral analysis capabilities, managing multiple transactions simultaneously.


Conduct initial financial assessments and business evaluations, while leading the due diligence process with a focus on credit and collateral scrutiny.

Take charge of the legal due diligence, negotiate loan documentation, and facilitate the closing process.

Engage proactively with Credit Management, Borrowers, Loan Operations, Treasury, and Closing teams, fostering collaboration with colleagues.

Qualifications:
Requirements

Vice President – Senior Underwriter


A Bachelor’s Degree along with a minimum of 6 years of experience in Commercial Lending or Credit Analysis, including financial statement analysis, projection preparation, and trailing twelve-month assessments.

Alternatively, a High School Diploma or GED with at least 10 years of experience in similar fields is acceptable.

Preferred

Educational Background:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or Accounting.

Preferred Experience:
Background in Finance or Banking.

Skills: Completion of a formal credit training program is preferred.

A minimum of 6+ years of relevant experience in accounting and/or banking; current involvement in ABL underwriting is strongly preferred (including Commercial & Industrial lending).

Experience in Healthcare Real Estate is advantageous.

Proficiency in financial, credit, and collateral/borrowing base analysis is essential.

Exceptional writing and communication skills are required.

Formal bank credit training is a plus.

An MBA or equivalent degree is preferred.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint is necessary.
