We are seeking a detail-oriented Mortgage Loan Processor to join our team at Americasa by Nationwide Mortgage Bankers. As a Mortgage Loan Processor, you will play a crucial role in navigating the mortgage lending process for our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and submit detailed loan packages to the lender underwriting department for approval or denial.
- Determine the best loan option for the borrower through interviewing and discussion.
- Work with the borrower to gather financial information, verify the accuracy, and complete the mortgage loan application.
- Act as a liaison between applicants, mortgage brokers, loan officers, real estate agents, and mortgage lending underwriters to facilitate loan approval.
- Ensure loan files meet lending and regulatory guidelines and policies.
- Experience in mortgage lending and knowledge of loan types, such as FHA, FHLB, FNMA, or VA loans.
- Minimum of 2+ years loan processing experience.
- Strong analytical and time management skills, with superior attention to detail.
- Accounting, finance, or business Associate's degree preferred; High school diploma or GED required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
