About this Role

We are seeking an experienced Ultrasound Technologist to join our team at Optum. As an Ultrasound Technologist II, you will play a vital role in maintaining high-quality diagnostic imaging services for our patients.

Your key responsibilities will include performing diagnostic ultrasound procedures, operating related equipment, and ensuring accurate image identification. You will also be responsible for maintaining logs, processing paperwork for biopsies, and adhering to HIPAA regulations.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Performing diagnostic ultrasound procedures with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Operating various ultrasound equipment and ensuring proper maintenance.
  • Maintaining accurate records and logs of patient information and examination results.
  • Collaborating with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.

Requirements:
  • A strong background in ultrasonography, preferably with ARDMS certification.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Compensation:

The estimated hourly range for this role is $28.03 to $54.95 per hour, based on local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, and other factors.
