The ideal candidate will have a robust technical background and practical experience in diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing refrigeration systems.

POSITION OVERVIEW:


In the role of Refrigeration Systems Technician at Beltway Companies, your primary responsibilities will include the inspection, diagnosis, and repair of refrigeration units and associated systems.

Your skills will enhance the efficiency and dependability of our clients' fleets of diesel-powered vehicles and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Conduct routine maintenance and inspections on diesel truck refrigeration systems.

2. Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical issues within refrigeration units.

3. Perform system performance evaluations and ensure adherence to safety regulations.

4. Replace or repair defective components, including compressors, condensers, and evaporators.

5. Maintain detailed records of maintenance and repairs conducted.

6. Collaborate with the fleet management team to effectively schedule and prioritize repair tasks.

7. Stay informed about industry standards and advancements in refrigeration technology.

8. Ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations.

Requirements:

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the repair and maintenance of diesel truck refrigeration systems.

- Strong understanding of refrigeration systems, including both electrical and mechanical components.

- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and software specific to refrigeration units.

- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.

- Excellent problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail.

- Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

- Valid driver's license and/or reliable transportation.

- Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various weather conditions.
