Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Refrigeration Technician to join our team at Air Tech Refrigeration & Mechanical Contractors, Inc. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working with commercial refrigeration equipment, including walk-in freezers, refrigerators, display cases, and ice machines.Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair commercial refrigeration equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Perform regular maintenance and inspections on commercial refrigeration systems to prevent downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
  • Install new refrigeration systems and ensure proper functionality to meet customer needs.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used to ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety standards and regulations to protect employees and customers.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Refrigeration Technician with a strong knowledge of refrigeration systems and components.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet deadlines and customer expectations.
  • Must have a clean driving record and pass a criminal background check to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills to effectively collaborate with customers and colleagues.
  • HVAC/R certification is a plus to demonstrate expertise and commitment to the field.
