Diagnostic Imaging Technologist - Mammography Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Diagnostic Imaging Technologist to join our team in providing high-quality mammography services. As a member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing screening and diagnostic mammographic procedures in accordance with established safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Acquire high-quality mammographic images while maintaining patient comfort and dignity.
  • Verify demographic and technical information in accordance with ACR guidelines.
  • Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with patients and staff.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and treatment plans.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, including mammography results and quality assurance testing.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
  • Current Registry in specific Imaging Modality (ARRT or ARDMS).
  • Licensed in the State of Maryland.
  • American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS.
