Salary: The estimated annual salary for this position is $75,000 - $90,000 based on national averages for Radiologic Technologists in the United States.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Process radiographic exams, verifying demographics and technical information, and checking the technical quality of images.
  2. Complete procedures within established time frames while maintaining high-quality work.
  3. Evaluate patients' conditions, administer first aid as needed, and assist physicians in cases of adverse reactions or emergencies.
  4. Ensure radiation protection for patients, adhering to prescribed safety standards and attending required courses in radiation safety.
  5. Collaborate with supervisors to recommend changes, report problems, and provide feedback to enhance patient care, technical quality, and clerical functions.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Successful completion of a two-year radiological technology program from an American Medical Association (AMA)-approved educational institution.
  • Current certification in diagnostic radiography by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Current State of Maryland licensure.
  • American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR certification.
