Power Systems Specialist

About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Power Systems Specialist to join our team at Qualus. The successful candidate will have a strong background in power systems, with experience in designing and implementing electrical substation equipment.
In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating with cross-functional teams, ensuring design concurrence, and meeting project deadlines. You will also have the opportunity to work on various projects, developing your skills and expertise.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement electrical substation equipment, utilizing applicable codes and client standards
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure design concurrence
- Meet project deadlines and support quality and project management goals
- Maintain up-to-date technical skills through on-the-job work and formal training
Requirements
- BS Degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited school (Mechanical Engineering degrees accepted for some roles)
- Ability to travel up to 20% of the time
- Microsoft Office product application
- Knowledge of AutoCAD and/or MicroStation
