About BARRE: This innovative fitness program combines elements of ballet, Pilates, and yoga, focusing on muscle toning and body sculpting, ultimately enhancing overall wellness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective BARRE classes to participants of varying skill levels.
- Foster a positive and inclusive environment that encourages members to achieve their fitness goals.
- Utilize strong communication skills to connect with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
- Exemplify and promote the core values of the YMCA.
Qualifications:
- Current BARRE Instructor Certification is mandatory.
- Exceptional interpersonal and customer service abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse range of individuals.
- Must pass a Level 2 background check and a pre-employment drug screening.
Compensation: Competitive pay rate ranging from $20 to $22 per hour, commensurate with experience and certifications. Additionally, employees receive a complimentary individual YMCA membership and family discounts.
Note: A clear criminal record and drug test are prerequisites for employment.
