Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our facilities team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities, maintaining a clean and safe environment for our residents, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance and repairs to ensure the proper functioning of our facilities, including mechanical and technical systems.
  • Facilities Management: Oversee the maintenance of our facilities, including cleaning, painting, and minor repairs.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Maintain and test emergency power systems, and ensure that all essential equipment is in safe operating condition.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to our residents, staff, and visitors, responding promptly to their needs and concerns.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with our facilities team to ensure that our facilities are well-maintained and that our residents receive the highest level of care.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Minimum of one (1) year physical plant and equipment experience in an institutional environment.
  • Skills and Qualifications: Ability to apply mechanical and technical concepts to facility plant repair and maintenance projects. Demonstrates interpersonal skills to interact with facility staff and residents. Able to apply building and safety codes to facility situations and maintenance procedures.
