Key Responsibilities- Clinical Care: Provide surgical services to patients, including operating room procedures and other clinical care at the University of Miami Hospital System.
- Education and Training: Educate medical students, surgery residents, and fellows, nurses, and other medical personnel on endocrine surgery and related topics.
- Research and Development: Participate in clinical research and development activities related to endocrine surgery.
- Collaboration and Communication: Interact with colleagues and attendings from multiple departments and divisions, and provide presentations and publications.
- Administrative Tasks: Bill clinical services, document patient medical records, and respond to billing and documentation discrepancies.
- Education: M.D. degree and Board Certification or Board Eligibility in General Surgery.
- Experience: 0-10 years post-fellowship clinical experience in Endocrine Surgery.
- Skills: Knowledge of professional medical principles, procedures, and techniques, thorough knowledge of pharmacological agents, effective verbal and written communication skills, and ability to work in a tactful and professional manner.
