Advanced Camera Algorithm Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled Advanced Camera Algorithm Developer to join our team at Apple in Cupertino, California. As a key member of our camera algorithms team, you will play a critical role in developing cutting-edge technologies that enable seamless and high-quality image and video capture on all Apple devices.
Responsibilities:- Develop machine learning-based algorithms for computational photography and computer vision problems
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to design, prototype, and optimize camera algorithms tailored to Apple's hardware capabilities
- Engage with the silicon team to optimize neural networks for low-level image processing
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field and a minimum of 3 years of relevant industry experience
- Demonstrated ability in developing machine learning algorithms for image and video processing problems
- Proficiency in using ML toolkits such as PyTorch and strong programming skills in Python or C/C++
- Proven track record in machine learning-based image and video processing, demonstrated through industry experience or publications in top-tier conferences
- Experience in image restoration, de-noising, super resolution, enhancement, etc.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
The base salary for this role is estimated to be between $143,100 and $264,200 per year, depending on your skills, qualifications, and location. Apple offers comprehensive benefits, including medical and dental coverage, retirement benefits, and a range of discounted products and services. You will also have the opportunity to participate in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs and purchase Apple stock at a discount through the Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
