Production Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Production Specialist to join our team at RTX. As a Production Specialist, you will operate machines to make precision cuts and measurements on production hardware.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process Focal Plane Arrays (Fixturing, Diamond Point Turning, hotplate, metrology, inspection etc) to build hardware.
- Follow written procedures and work instructions.
- Handle fragile hardware and manually manipulate small parts during processing.
- Document data on travelers and in the electronic database.
- Utilize strong interpersonal communication skills with peers, support teams and management.
- Cross-training will be ongoing and requires the ability to learn new processes, equipment, techniques through guidance and direction from trainers.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum 6 years of production experience in cleanroom fabrication, assembly, manufacturing or equivalent.
- Experience in MS Office (Excel).
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Ability to work safely with chemicals and raw production materials.
- Experience using a Diamond Point Turning (DPT) machine, Lathe, manual Bridgeport machine, CNC (Computer Numerical Control) or any combination of these tools.
- Experience using hand tools.
- Experience working in a machine shop.
- Ability to multitask.
- The flexibility to work occasional, voluntary overtime on weekends to meet the factory's needs is strongly desired.

Clearance Information:
This position requires a security clearance. DCSA Consolidated Adjudication Services (DCSA CAS), an agency of the Department of Defense, handles and adjudicates the security clearance process.
