We are seeking a highly skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at UNC Health. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality radiographic images and patient care.
Responsibilities- Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures, including X-rays, CT scans, and MRI scans.
- Assess patient conditions and develop action plans for performing examinations.
- Verify patient identity and obtain relevant medical history.
- Administer contrast media and medications as needed.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
- Associate's degree or completion of an accredited Radiologic Sciences Program.
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiological Sciences or registry eligible and become registered within one (1) year from date of hire.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification.
