Job Title: Radiologic Technologist

UNC Health is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team in Chapel Hill, North Carolina.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to conduct routine procedures and tests using radiology equipment to acquire patient diagnostic data. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing patients for examinations, operating radiology equipment, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Conducts routine procedures and tests using radiology equipment to acquire patient diagnostic data.
  • Prepares patients for examinations, including explaining procedures and positioning patients for optimal imaging.
  • Operates radiology equipment, including X-ray machines, CT scanners, and MRI machines.
  • Maintains a clean and safe work environment, including cleaning and disinfecting equipment and disposing of hazardous materials.
  • Documents patient information and examination results accurately and efficiently.
Requirements:
  • Associate's degree or completion of an accredited Radiologic Sciences Program.
  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiological Sciences or registry eligible and become registered within one (1) year from date of hire.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification.
Working Conditions:

The Radiologic Technologist will work in a fast-paced environment with frequent exposure to radiation. The successful candidate must be able to lift and move patients and equipment as needed.
