In this role, you will assess and treat communication and swallowing disorders in individuals of all ages. You will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop personalized treatment plans and provide support to patients and their families.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess patients' speech, language, and swallowing abilities.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs and goals.
  • Provide direct therapy services to individuals with communication and swallowing disorders, utilizing evidence-based techniques and strategies.
  • Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed to achieve optimal outcomes.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Valid California state license or eligibility for licensure
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred
  • Previous experience in a school setting preferred
  • IEP experience preferred
  • Experience with AAC devices
