Job Summary

As a Speech Pathologist at the University of California, San Francisco, you will provide professional speech therapy services to patients, including evaluations, planning individual care programs, and treatments. You will demonstrate and apply current knowledge of principles and practices of Speech Therapy, working collaboratively with the patient care team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify communication disorders and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Provide speech therapy services to patients, including individual and group sessions
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive care and coordinate treatment plans
  • Stay current with best practices and research in Speech Therapy, applying this knowledge to improve patient outcomes
Requirements
  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a school accredited by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association
  • California licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
  • Completion of Clinical Practicum and passing score on the National Examination for SLP
