Part Time Registered Nursing Clinical Instructor

We are seeking a highly qualified Part Time Registered Nursing Clinical Instructor to join our team at the University of Arkansas Community College at Morrilton. As a Clinical Instructor, you will play a vital role in shaping the next generation of nursing professionals.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise students in the clinical and/or simulation setting, ensuring they receive hands-on experience and develop essential nursing skills.
- Maintain accurate student attendance and records, adhering to institutional policies and procedures.
- Document student performance, providing constructive feedback to facilitate growth and improvement.
- Assist in the evaluation process and grading of student performance, ensuring fairness and consistency.
- Attend faculty meetings and advisory committee meetings as scheduled, contributing to the development of the nursing program.
- Participate in the systematic evaluation process of the nursing program, providing valuable insights and recommendations.
- Maintain a working knowledge of teaching and nursing best practices by attending workshops, continuing education opportunities, and professional development events.
- Adhere to the UACCM Program Guide and Syllabi for Nursing students, as well as the UACCM Nursing Faculty Handbook.
- Adhere to institutional policies in effect at UACCM, ensuring a safe and inclusive learning environment.
- Serve as a positive role model for students, staff, and colleagues, promoting a culture of excellence and respect.
- Valid and unencumbered RN Arkansas Nursing license.
- Must hold a degree or diploma at or above the type of education program offered.
- Working knowledge of the rules, regulations, principles, and policies of various areas of nursing.
- Current TB skin test (negative result) and CPR certification (Healthcare Provider).
- A minimum of (1) year of clinical nurse experience.
- Thorough knowledge and understanding of clinical protocol, procedures, and standards within area of nursing expertise.
- Technical leadership skills within area of expertise.
- Able to communicate effectively both orally and in written form.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- High level of organization skills with the ability to provide information/reports quickly.
- Able to travel to clinical sites and work assigned number of hours.
This is a part-time position with a competitive hourly rate of $30.00. The successful candidate will be required to submit a cover letter, license or certificate, list of three professional references, resume, and unofficial/official transcript(s).
