Part Time Registered Nursing Clinical Instructor

We are seeking a highly qualified Part Time Registered Nursing Clinical Instructor to join our team at the University of Arkansas System. As a Clinical Instructor, you will play a vital role in shaping the next generation of nursing professionals.
Responsibilities- Supervise students in the clinical and/or simulation setting, ensuring they receive hands-on experience and develop essential skills.
- Maintain accurate student attendance and records, adhering to established protocols and guidelines.
- Document student performance, providing constructive feedback and supporting their growth and development.
- Collaborate with faculty members to evaluate student performance, ensuring consistency and fairness in assessment.
- Attend faculty meetings and participate in advisory committee meetings, contributing to the development of our nursing program.
- Stay current with industry developments and best practices, attending workshops and continuing education opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
- Adhere to the University of Arkansas System's policies and procedures, upholding the highest standards of professionalism and integrity.
- Valid and unencumbered RN Arkansas Nursing license.
- Hold a degree or diploma at or above the type of education program offered.
- Working knowledge of the rules, regulations, principles, and policies of various areas of nursing.
- Current TB skin test (negative result) and CPR certification (Healthcare Provider).
- A minimum of one year of clinical nurse experience.
- Thorough knowledge and understanding of clinical protocol, procedures, and standards within the area of nursing expertise.
- Technical leadership skills within the area of expertise.
- Able to communicate effectively both orally and in written form.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- High level of organization skills with the ability to provide information/reports quickly.
- Able to travel to clinical sites and work assigned number of hours.
