A Day in the Life of a Care Options for Kids Nurse

As a Registered Nurse with Care Options for Kids, you'll have the opportunity to work with self-sufficient autonomy, empowered to make a real difference in the lives of your clients. You'll provide one-to-one nursing care in a home environment, taking direction from our clinical team and being overseen by a registered nurse.

Each day will be a new adventure, filled with opportunities to build your clinical expertise while shaping the lives of your client and their loved ones. You'll prepare and deliver medications, perform routine trach and g-tube care, and document your work in our dedicated Point of Care platform.

Our nurses are valued and respected for their clinical knowledge and the deep one-on-one bond they establish with the families they care for. We offer 24-hour, 365-day support and on-demand clinical resources to ensure you have everything you need to succeed.

Responsibilities of Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) / Registered Nurses (RNs)
  • Providing one-to-one nursing care in a home environment
  • Taking direction from clinical team and being overseen by a registered nurse
  • Following the plan of care
  • Following all clinical and office policies
Requirements for Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) / Registered Nurses (RNs)
  • Valid Pennsylvania LPN/RN License or Multistate License
  • PPD or Chest X-Ray
  • Valid BLS CPR card (obtained in person not online)
  • Valid driver's license
  • G-tube, trach, vent experience or willing to train
