Preschool Promise Quality Specialist and Instructional Coach

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Preschool Promise Quality Specialist and Instructional Coach to join our team at Southwestern Oregon Community College. This is a full-time position that will support the implementation and continuous quality improvement of Preschool Promise in partnership with early education programs.
Key Responsibilities- Provide intensive and individualized consultation and coaching in accordance with the Preschool Promise program expectations, Preschool Promise Policies and Procedures, and Preschool Promise Manual.
- Support the implementation of Preschool Promise in family and center-based childcare settings, school districts, and other early education programs to meet program expectations, classroom, and teacher goals.
- Conduct regular direct classroom observations and video review using various technology, providing feedback to educators, and supporting the implementation of best practices in early learning, inclusion, dual language learning, and social/emotional development.
- Participate in ongoing coaching provided by ELD contracted Mentor Coaches and serve as a resource in identifying appropriate research-based instructional strategies and interventions to improve outcomes for Preschool Promise children and families.
- Bachelor's degree in ECE or related field with coursework in age three (3) to five (5) development or a Step 10 on the Oregon Registry.
- Two (2) or more years of experience in an early childhood program with a focus on preschool.
- Two (2) years of experience providing Technical Assistance and training to early education programs, providing classroom observations and/or home visits to families with young children.
- Experience supporting the primacy of families, their home languages, and their cultures, and an understanding of how to engage them.
- Bilingual Spanish.
- Ability to obtain Oregon Early Learning Coaching Certificate and Oregon Registry Master Trainer Certification.
- Competitive salary range of $47,229 - $51,122.
