Job Summary
Murresboro City Schools is seeking a qualified ESP Staff member to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support to students and staff in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

About the Role
This is a part-time position, approximately 20 hours per week, with an estimated salary of $12-$15 per hour based on experience. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently and as part of a team, and demonstrate a commitment to providing high-quality support to students and staff.

Responsibilities
- Monitor children at all times, ensuring their safety and well-being
- Plan and implement engaging activities for groups of up to 20 children
- Complete required professional development hours each school calendar year
- Turn in lesson plans weekly, including standards, objectives, goals, procedures, and supply requests
- Demonstrate imagination and resourcefulness in working with and planning for students
- Plan enrichment activities for students during the school year, breaks, and holidays
- Attend mandatory monthly staff meetings
- Adhere to ESP policies and Murfreesboro City Schools policies
- Perform other duties as assigned, including reporting incidents, cleaning, and completing accident and behavior reports when required

Requirements
- Minimum age requirement: 17 years old
- Must be courteous, respectful, and protective of students' and parents' privacy
- Behavior and dress must be professional
- Must demonstrate a positive and helpful attitude, be creative, and detail-oriented
- Must be physically interactive throughout the day, able to stand for extended periods, stoop, bend, do light lifting, push, and pull
- Must have emotional coping skills suitable for managing student, staff, and parent behavior
- Must tolerate environmental smells and substances commonly associated with children and educational institutions
