About the Job

Fusion Medical Staffing-Cath Lab is seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist to join their team for a 13-week travel assignment in Kansas City, Missouri.

Job Summary

This is a unique opportunity to work with a reputable healthcare organization and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care. As an Interventional Radiology Technologist, you will be responsible for providing technical support during medical procedures, ensuring the safety and comfort of patients, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to achieve optimal outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Communicate effectively with physicians and other healthcare team members to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Provide and coordinate patient care with other healthcare professionals, including nurses and physicians.
  • Monitor patients' responses to interventions and report outcomes to the healthcare team.
  • Administer medications as ordered and document patient information accurately.
  • Transport patients as needed and maintain a clean and safe environment.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • One to three years of experience as a Technologist, preferably in Interventional Radiology.
  • Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to read and comprehend written instructions, as well as follow verbal instructions.
  • PC skills and physical abilities to remain in a stationary position, move about, and move equipment as needed.
