Reach Truck Operator Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Reach Truck Operator to join our team at Performance Food Group. As a Reach Truck Operator, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating reach trucks to move products or materials to designated areas within our warehouse.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate reach truck equipment to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Perform routine pre-inspection and post-inspection maintenance checks on reach truck equipment.
  • Accurately pick orders and prepare them for shipping.
  • Place incoming merchandise in the appropriate storage areas, utilizing the reach truck's lifting capabilities.
  • Comply with all safety regulations and practices within the warehouse.
  • Collaborate with warehouse staff to plan and organize the layout of storage areas.
  • Respond to and report any incidents or malfunctions of the reach truck equipment.
  • Participate in inventory counts and audits as required.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent
  • 1 year of warehouse and distribution work experience
  • 1 + years of forklift experience
  • Able to work the scheduled/assigned times and required overtime for the position.
  • Able to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout shift
  • Able to work in multi-temperature environments
  • Pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check.
