Position Overview:

As a Lead Financial Analyst, you will contribute significantly to our financial operations by executing month-end closing processes, conducting account reconciliations, and analyzing financial outcomes. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial reports, while collaborating with various teams to pinpoint areas for enhancement. You will work closely with the Controller, who will support your professional growth.

Location: Hybrid Work Environment

Reports to: Controller

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute month-end closing tasks efficiently, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations.
  • Assist in the annual audit process and address audit inquiries.
  • Provide analytical support and information as required.
  • Facilitate system implementation initiatives across the organization.
  • Contribute to the development and refinement of accounting process documentation.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in General Ledger, Accruals, and Month-end Closing processes.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to foster productive relationships across various departments.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and evolving environment with minimal supervision.
  • A proactive approach to process improvement and automation.
  • Experience with multi-entity financial reporting is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Sage Intacct is advantageous.
  • Experience in a Private Equity context is a plus.
