Position Summary:
We are looking for a dedicated Finance professional with strong analytical and interpersonal abilities to support the Analytical Instruments Group (AIG) Finance team as a Manager, Finance. This role requires a passion for financial reporting and business performance evaluation.

The ideal candidate will be a high-potential individual with exceptional relationship-building skills and a knack for problem-solving, backed by at least 5 years of diverse finance/accounting experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist functional and Finance leaders with analytics, reporting, and forecasting on essential components of revenue, operational expenses, and working capital metrics. Oversee the daily, weekly, and monthly reporting of financial metrics and scorecards.
  • Act as a business partner to FP&A and Divisional Leaders, applying analytical rigor to develop business cases for R&D, strategic partnerships, and cost-saving initiatives.
  • Lead and mentor finance personnel.
  • Collaborate with business partners across the organization to enhance performance and provide analytical insights. This includes driving margin improvement by identifying a more profitable product mix and supporting manufacturing efficiency and sourcing enhancements through data transparency.
  • Offer recommendations to refine current reporting tools. Engage in automation and efficiency projects related to reporting and data integration.
  • Assist in preparing business presentations, including Monthly Business Review (MBR), long-range planning (STRAP), and Quarterly Business Review (QBR) schedules.
  • Develop reporting solutions that establish benchmarks in analytical insight and user experience.

Minimum Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, MIS, or related fields.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with the ability to articulate business impact in financial terms.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a cross-functional team. Exceptional customer focus is essential.
  • Technical proficiency in navigating the interplay between various financial systems (Oracle, SAP, Enterprise Data Warehouse, Hyperion Planning, Hyperion Financial Management/CMR) along with advanced Microsoft Office skills.
