Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Audit Senior Associate to join our team in Reno, NV. As an Audit Senior Associate, you will be responsible for leading engagements, conducting fraud interviews, and providing financial analysis to improve client internal controls and accounting procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Initiate kickoff meetings with clients to determine timelines, goals, and expectations for the engagement.
  • Lead the engagement meeting with audit team members and share knowledge from the client call.
  • Conduct fraud interviews with CEOs, accountants, and other employees as needed.
  • Provide financial analysis to improve client internal controls and accounting procedures.
  • Coach staff, train on areas of audit, and collaborate on how to best handle aspects of the engagement.
  • Review staff work, prepare high-risk audit sections, and draft financial statements.
  • Network, build relationships, and attract new clients or business to the Firm.
Qualifications
  • Active CPA license and at least 2-4 years of experience in public accounting audit work.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to effectively interact with all levels of Firm management, staff, clients, and other external business contacts.
  • Knowledge of and exposure to a variety of industries.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with others.
  • Highly motivated and driven individual with a passion for learning and growth.
