About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Municipal Services Manager to lead our municipal services team in Fargo, ND. This is a senior-level position that offers the opportunity to maintain and develop Apex's municipal services for public and private clients.

Job Description

This position involves managing all aspects of client relationships, establishing and maintaining key strategic partnerships, collaborating with other sector leaders, and following strategic plan initiatives and goals for the ND municipal sector and the company.

The successful candidate will have a strong ability to mentor project engineers in areas of contract development, project profitability, and risk management, as well as participate in business development and marketing activities related to municipal services.

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree in civil engineering with 10+ years of municipal engineering experience and a minimum of 7 years project management experience, predominantly in the State of ND.
  • A licensed engineer to practice engineering within the State of ND.
  • Experience and working knowledge preferred in municipal engineering, construction, and public works/utilities in ND.
  • Experience and working knowledge with public agencies located in North Dakota.
  • Experience with developing business and managing personnel in the consulting engineering industry is preferred.
  • Involvement in appropriate professional organizations beneficial to Apex and the municipal sector.
  • Proficient using Microsoft Windows/Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
  • Must be detail-oriented, self-motivated with strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
