About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Shipment Management Associate II to join our team at Ryder System. As a key member of our Transportation Management division, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Support: Provide technical support for SMC operations, including front-line support for command center activities and after-hours support via remote access.
  • Customer Interfacing: Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external customers, ensuring timely resolution of operational issues.
  • Continuous Improvement: Develop and document operational processes and procedures to support site-wide ISO 9001 quality system.
  • Customer Solution Development: Provide support for peers and subordinates on key operational decisions and non-typical requests to support customer business needs.
  • Operational Training: Participate in the development, deployment, and maintenance of client-specific and operations-generic training materials and delivery methods.
  • Project Management: Manage a variety of account-specific and site-wide tactical and strategic projects.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred in Transportation Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Experience: Two or more years of direct transportation or logistics work experience required.
