Caregiver Assistant

Welcome to Mira Vie at West Milford, where we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Caregiver Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our care staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the comfort, well-being, and dignity of our residents.
About the RoleThis is a per diem opportunity for a Caregiver Assistant who will provide direct care to residents while promoting their highest level of functioning. You will work under the supervision of management to ensure that residents receive personalized attention and support.
Responsibilities- Assist residents with personal care activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, according to individualized plans of care.
- Document all pertinent information regarding care provided, including vital signs, weights, and other relevant data.
- Prevent and address any potential safety hazards or risks to residents.
- Participate actively in Interdisciplinary Team Process, including documentation of care delivered and resident condition.
- CNA or HHA certification required.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- At least six months of experience in a caregiving role or similar function.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Able to communicate verbally in person and over the phone.
We offer a competitive salary of $18.00 - $22.00 per hour, depending on experience, and benefits that include medical, dental, and vision coverage, paid time off, 401(k) retirement plan, and life insurance.
