Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and driven LPN/RN to join our team at the Johnson County Correctional Center. As a Part-Time Nights LPN/RN, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive healthcare to patients, including administering medications, performing medical intakes, and responding to sick call requests.

Responsibilities
  • Assess, plan, and deliver healthcare to patients
  • Administer medications and perform medical intakes
  • Respond to sick call requests and follow up with medical providers
  • Check and/or change medical dressings as required
  • Perform 14-day physicals and manage chronic care
  • Provide patient education on health concerns and respond to medical emergencies
  • Maintain working knowledge of pharmacology and provide insight and direction to medically trained personnel
  • Comply with all current and future state, federal, and local laws and regulations
Requirements
  • Valid LPN or RN licensure
  • Valid CPR certification
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
