  • Conduct performance evaluations for kitchen personnel in a timely manner.
  • Schedule staff based on anticipated business needs while ensuring all positions are adequately filled.
  • Train kitchen staff on safe equipment operation and sanitation practices.
  • Implement and uphold cleaning schedules for all kitchen areas.
  • Monitor food storage and refrigeration to ensure compliance with safety standards.

Qualifications:

To excel in this role, candidates should possess:

  • Formal culinary training from an accredited institution and relevant food production experience.
  • A minimum of three years in a management role within a culinary environment.
  • At least two years of experience in a similar position.

Physical Requirements:

Candidates must be able to:

  • Lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks such as bending and stooping.
  • Stand for extended periods and maintain stamina in a fast-paced environment.

Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication abilities, both verbal and written, are essential. Candidates should demonstrate professionalism, dependability, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
