Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Benefits Specialist to join our team at ConvenientMD. As a key member of our HR department, you will play a critical role in managing employee benefits, leaves, and special projects with confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and improve benefit processes to ensure compliance.
  • Communicate benefit offerings and provide employee training.
  • Manage new hire enrollments, orientations, and open enrollments.
  • Collaborate with vendors, finance, and payroll to ensure compliance across all benefits.
  • Audit benefit reports, resolve insurance claims, and process payments.
  • Handle employee leave requests and maintain accurate records.
  • Manage multi-state unemployment claims and the return-to-work process.
  • Identify and implement improvement opportunities in operations.
  • Assist in HR special projects like compensation and performance management.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in employee benefits and leave administration in a mid-sized organization with multi-state leave administration.
  • Bachelor's degree in HR or Business Administration (or equivalent experience).
  • Proficient in MS Office & Smartsheet.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Knowledgeable about benefits plans and related payroll/accounting functions.
  • Able to maintain confidentiality and provide excellent customer service.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines.
