About the Role

NOCO is seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team and contribute to the design of innovative products. As a key member of our engineering team, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful development and launch of our products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement electrical design solutions from concept to production.
  • Design and develop analog and digital circuits, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to create design specifications and test reports.
  • Conduct product testing and validation, identifying and resolving any issues that arise.
  • Coordinate with other engineering disciplines to ensure seamless product development.
  • Support manufacturing activities, ensuring that products meet quality and safety standards.
  • Mentor and review the work of junior engineers, providing guidance and feedback to help them grow in their roles.
  • Travel to suppliers and customers as required, building relationships and ensuring that NOCO's products meet customer needs.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  • At least 7 years of experience in electrical design and product development, with a strong track record of success.
  • Extensive knowledge of analog and digital circuits, including design, simulation, and circuit analysis.
  • Proficiency in schematic capture and PCB layout using common ECAD systems such as Altium, Mentor Graphics, or Eagle.
  • Experience with design for EMC and compliance, as well as design for manufacturing and test.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and debug electronic circuits and systems, using lab equipment such as DMM, oscilloscope, and data acquisition tools.
Desirable Skills
  • Experience with power electronics, DC motor control, lithium-ion batteries, and battery management systems.
  • Knowledge of micro-controllers, communications buses (I2C, SPI, UART, etc.), and embedded programming.
