Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and patient-centered Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team at Oak Park Dental LLC. As a key member of our dental care team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional preventive dental care services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Remove hard and soft deposits from teeth and examine oral areas, head, and neck for signs of oral disease.
  • Provide patient education on oral hygiene and preventative dental care.
  • Take and develop X-rays, apply fluoride or sealants, and facilitate the dentist's diagnosis and treatment recommendations.
  • Assess and evaluate patient through exam, patient records, and patient's medical history to assist in diagnosis of dental hygiene problems, disease, and efficacy of administered treatment plans.
  • Develop and present treatment plans, and work chair side with the dentist as needed.
  • Perform head and neck/oral cancer exam, and examine gums using probes to locate periodontal recessed gums and signs of gum disease.
  • Communicate findings to patient and doctor, and educate and motivate patient on proper oral hygiene and corrective/preventative measures.
Requirements
  • Registered Dental Hygienist License (Required)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a professional demeanor in a clinical setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, dentists, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information in accordance with HIPAA standards.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends.
