About the Organization
Community Volunteer Transportation Company (CVTC) is a recognized 501(c)3 nonprofit entity established in 2008. The organization envisions accessible transportation options for all.
Our mission focuses on enhancing health, well-being, and independence by coordinating transportation services for individuals throughout the Monadnock Region, located in the southwest corner of New Hampshire.
For many individuals lacking vehicle access due to age, ability, financial constraints, or other factors, transportation options can be severely limited.
By providing complimentary transportation for those in need, CVTC's dedicated team of staff and volunteers makes a significant positive impact on our communities in three key areas.
- Addressing public health needs by collaborating with local hospitals, human services organizations, and municipalities to promote the health, safety, and well-being of our communities.
- Assisting neighbors in need of transportation by offering rides to non-emergency medical or social service appointments, as well as to essential locations such as grocery stores, banks, post offices, or pharmacies.
- Engaging community members seeking meaningful volunteer opportunities by providing training and support for our volunteer drivers, along with an efficient ride coordination system and mileage reimbursement.
